While I am already devoted to Studio M and to the numerous Group Reformer classes I take from its talented instructors, I have only recently begun to acquaint myself with their Gyrotonic machines . Now I can appreciate why Studio M was the first to embrace this methodology and has more of this equipment and more trained instructors than anywhere else in Sonoma! The fluid Gyrotonic movements are completely different from the slower, strength building that is accomplished on the Reformer or in any Pilates Mat exercise. Each compliments the other; and I feel so fortunate to be able to do both under the same roof.
